About Our Practice and Rates
Welcome to the Primary Care of Texas Teleheath website, where our experience and resources meet to empower you to take control of your health. Telehealth is a unique form of care, often requiring a cooperative relationship between the patient and clinican to closely monitor your care for a successful outcome. Our practice is anchored on a strong desire to provide individualized primary and urgent care telehealth services in a manner that satisfies your patient experience and meets your personal goals. We hope this desire is evident from your initial contact with our scheduling platform and throughout your course of treatment.
Rest assured, our clinicians will take the time to address your concerns and explain all available treatment plans. We know the value of an unrushed appointment and we are here for you when you need us whether it be by telephone, smartphone video or desk top computer video.
- Currently, we are offering care to all patients within the Texas region and able to reach and provide a visit via our Telehealth platform. Or, they may chose to come in to our clinic for in person evaluation and treatment. Insurances which we are members vary, as we're adding new carriers throughout the year. Please check with our front office for the current list. We're also offering self-pay services at different rates per individual requests or you can use your private insurance to cover orders for laboratory, prescriptions and imagaing as needed.

- A Telehealth exam or in clinic exam
- Medications required for existing conditions such as nebulizer treatments, injections or topical treatments if not covered by your insurance is the responsiblity of the patient.
- Appropriate labs, imaging as well education and any advice related to a condition as allowed by your carrier or covered by the patient.
- Lab orders will be sent to Quest Diagnostics, Labcorp or CPL and can be covered by the patient's insurance or covered privately.
- Labs and imaging expense are outside of the visit's charge.
- Follow up visits vary per condition and required treatment, include:
- An inclinic visit or Telehealth visit
- Medication refills as needed
- Education and any advice pertinent to the visit.
- Urgent care visits are scaled separately, at 125.00-400.00 per condition to include:
- A Telehealth visit and exam or on site visit, evaluation and treatments are available for various conditions.
- Any medication required as well as any laboratory or imaging orders will be the patient's responsibility and not covered by the private pay rate of 125.00-400.00.
If determined that an Urgent care visit needs to be elevated to a new admission visit, the patient will be allowed to determine whether they want to proceed with the visit change or discuss this with me or an associate clinician during the visit. For example, if you have a cold, cough or flu but at the same time need to establish care to fill your existing medications for a chronic condition, this would be more appropriately addressed with a Primary Care admission.
At Primary Care of Texas, PLLC, we will do our very best to accommodate your most urgent need during the visit or refer you to a higher level of care like a free standing Urgent Care clinic or Emergency Room if needed. Patients have the potential to message our providers through the AthenaOne patient portal. However, any new complaints or conditions messaged via the patient portal will require a new appointment. A question regarding the patient's most recent visit, a medication change or questions regarding a new medication prescribed will be addressed without generating a charge.
